The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) has signed a new agreement with the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR) and with the Fondazione CRUI for the reactivation of the quarterly curricular internships at the Italian diplomatic missions abroad. The new traineeship programme aims to integrate the student's university training path with concrete experience that allows direct knowledge of the MAECI's institutional activities abroad.
Given the pre-eminent connection of curricular internships with international careers, the internships available at Embassies, Consulates and Permanent Representations at International Organizations are for students aged 28 or over who are enrolled in a master's degree programme that allows access to diplomatic careers. The curricular internships at Italian Cultural Institutes are also extended to students enrolled in other degree programmes, as specified in each call for applications. Students are entitled to a reimbursement of expenses, paid by the University they belong to, for a minimum amount of 300 euros per month.
The announcement concerning traineeships for the year 2019 has been published on the website www.tirocinicrui.it. Applications must be sent online by the application deadline has been expentede to 27 March 2019. All application details are indicated in the call for applications.
