The admission process to the MSc in EEBL is based on two steps of selection:
- FIRST STEP: Education background evaluation through the Online application;
- SECOND STEP: Online interview to assess candidates' knowledge.
NOTE: To apply to our MSc Programme, candidates must have at least 15 years of Schooling (Total years of education including Elementary School, Middle School, High School, and Undergraduate degree).
Application deadlines:
- Non-EU applicants applying for study visa: 26 May 2025
- EU applicants, non-EU applicants who reside in Italy, non-EU applicants holding an Italian degree and a valid residence permit: 28 July 2025
Please note that candidates cannot re-apply for the same academic year.
Entry Requirements
Application to the Master of Science Degree in European Economy and Business Law (EEBL) is subject to verification of possession of the curricular requirements and the adequacy of personal preparation (pursuant to art. 6, paragraph 2, of Ministerial Decree 270/2004) specified below in points 1 and 2.
1) Curricular requirements
a) Possession of an undergraduate degree in one the following classes (ex. Italian DM 270 /04) in:
L-5 Filosofia (Philosophy);
L-7 Ingegneria civile e ambientale (Civil and environmental engineering);
L-8 Ingegneria dell'informazione (Information technology engineering);
L-9 Ingegneria industriale (Industrial engineering);
L-10 Lettere (Humanities);
L-11 Lingue e culture moderne (Modern languages and civilisations);
L-14 Scienze dei servizi giuridici (Legal services);
L-16 Scienze dell'Amministrazione e dell'organizzazione (Administration);
L-18 Scienze dell'economia e della gestione aziendale (Business administration);
L-20 Scienze della comunicazione (Communication);
L-30 Scienze e tecnologie fisiche (Physics);
L-31 Scienze e tecnologie informatiche (Computer Science);
L-33 Scienze economiche (Economics);
L-35 Scienze matematiche (Mathematics);
L-36 Scienze politiche e delle relazionali internazionali (Political science and international relations);

or an Italian Single Cycle degree in LM-G01 Giurisprudenza (Law);
or an Italian degree (ex DM 509/99) in the subjects that are equivalent to those listed above.
If obtained abroad, the academic qualification must correspond to the first cycle according to the Bologna Process qualifications framework and to level 6 according to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) obtained at a higher education institution that allows the continuation of studies at academic institutions of the next level (second cycle of the Bologna Process/EQF level 7).
b) In addition to what is required in letter a), candidates are required to have a previous university career that includes at least 12 CFU in the scientific-disciplinary fields and sectors listed below:

If the student's curriculum does not meet these requirements, the student must fill these gaps before being able to proceed with enrollment. Any additions to the curriculum must be made before the deadline indicated for enrollment (see art.3).
PLEASE NOTE: It is possible to request the evaluation of qualifications to verify the possession of the curricular requirements according to the procedure set out in this article, even while waiting to obtain the 3-year degree with at most 18 credits missing from obtaining the qualification. In this case, it is mandatory to indicate the date of the degree exam and the list of exams still to be taken in the CV.
2) Adequate personal preparation
Personal preparation will be verified through an interview with the Coordinator or his delegates to ensure that the student is adequately prepared in the preparatory subjects for the courses taught in the European Economy and Business Law (EEBL) master's degree course. Students who already meet the curricular and linguistic requirements and have a final exam average (Final GPA), or the final undergraduate degree grade of at least 77/110 or 70% of the maximum grade achievable for qualifications obtained abroad are exempt from the interview. The admission interview will be held in English and exclusively online. Candidates will receive an email indicating the interview date. During the assessment phase, they must demonstrate that they possess adequate knowledge of the general principles of economics and good mathematical-statistical preparation. The interview cannot be rescheduled. Candidates who do not attend the interview will be automatically disqualified.
To access the course, knowledge of the English language equivalent to B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required, or it can be certified by suitable documentation issued by the university where the qualification, exam or English language proficiency was obtained. Candidates who can prove they are native speakers are exempt from presenting certification of such knowledge. Candidates who do not have a certificate of knowledge of the English language can still apply; the Selection Committee will evaluate their CVs and transcripts of records, and if the evaluation is positive, knowledge of the English language will be ascertained during the online interview.

First Step: Online Application
In order to apply candidates must fill in the online application using the following procedure indicated below, from the DELPHI online services website:
- Connect to the online Services Website Delphi
- Select"STUDENT SECTION", Sector 1> Application to programs taught in English a.y. 2025/2026 > Start application procedures > Faculty of Economics > Select MSc in European Economy and Business Law.
The candidate must provide a valid email address to receive communications regarding the selection procedure. After registration, you will receive a confirmation email so you will be able to fill in the online form and upload the documents with your Fiscal Code and CTRL code.
- Fill outthe application form and upload the required documents
- Click here and select Box 2 "You have already filled out an application"
- Insert your Fiscal Code and CTRL code which are both in your application request received by email
- Upload the required documents in .pdf format
Once the application has been submitted, the system will provide the application form in .pdf format and a payment slip with a CTRL code written on the second to last page. You may enter the system more than once to complete the uploading of your documents, modify your application, and re-print your application request. etc. If you need to recover your CTRL code, select Box 3 "Find CTRL".
- Printthe application form (to be saved) and the 30,00 Euros payment slip for the application fee.
- Paythe application non-refundable fee through the PagoPA system. Also, online payments via credit cards are allowed (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). PagoPA Guide
The following categories of students are exempt from the application fee payment:
- students with a disability equal to or greater than 66%
- students who have earned a bachelor's degree at Tor Vergata University with a final grade of at least 100/110.
These exempted candidates will still have to validate the payment slip of 0,00 Euros using the CTRL and AUTH codes assigned automatically by the Delphi online service.
- Connect again to DELPHI in order to validate the paymentand conclude your application.
- Click here and select Box 2 "You have already filled out an application".
- Insert your Fiscal Code and CTRL code which are both on your application request
- Select "Request validation"
- Click on CONFIRM PAGOPA
The results of the evaluation will be received via email at the email address provided in the application form according to the application schedule.
NOTE:
It is mandatory to pay and validate the payment online within the application deadline.
Once you validate the payment, you can no longer modify your application.
APPLICATION DOCUMENTS
Candidates must upload on Delphi the following documents in .pdf format:
COMPULSORY DOCUMENTS:
- Scanned copy of valid Passport or ID Card only for EU students
- Official Transcript of Exams: you must upload the official document issued by the university, in Italian or in English (other languages are not accepted), that contains the name of the university, the bachelor's program, and the list of the exams and grades achieved.
- Curriculum Vitae in English
- English Language Certificate (B2 Level): Applicants who do not have an English certificate can still apply; the Admission Board will evaluate their CVs and transcript of records and, if the evaluation is positive, their knowledge of English will be assessed during the online interview.
Second Step: Online Interview
Only candidates who meet the entry requirements will be invited to an online interview to assess their knowledge of economics, mathematics and statistics, and in case needed, English language knowledge.
Access to the MSc in EEBL is also subject to the adequacy of personal preparation (pursuant to article 6, paragraph 2, of the Ministerial Decree 270/2004) which will be considered satisfied by candidates with a final degree mark or a final GPA of 70%.
For students who meet the entry requirements, but don’t have completed their Bachelor’s degree yet, an interview is scheduled in which candidates must demonstrate that they have:
- adequate knowledge of the general principles of economics;
- a good mathematical-statistical background;
Candidates will be contacted by email to schedule the interview as per the application schedule.
The interview for admission is held in English and exclusively online; it lasts up to 30 minutes. For an idea of the appropriate level of knowledge and to be better prepared for the interview, candidates may consult the following material:

The interview can't be rescheduled. Students who do not show up at the interview are automatically excluded.
The Admission Board will communicate the result (Admitted/Rejected) by e-mail ten days after the interview.
In case of Admission: Enrollment
All admitted applicants, once they have received the Acceptance Letter, must send an email to the Admissions Office admissions@eebl.uniroma2.it to communicate their decision to confirm (or forego) enrollment in our program by the end of July 2025. We encourage students to stay informed and visit our website often for periodic updates.
It is not possible to defer the acceptance. If you wish to delay your studies for a year or more, you will need to resubmit the application again.
Enrollment begins on 1 August 2025 and the deadline is 3 November 2025. Admitted students are allowed to proceed with the enrollment only once they have completed their Bachelor's Degree (Laurea Triennale). Non-EU admitted students with a foreign degree must graduate by the pre-enrollment deadline that is established by the Italian Embassy in their country. EU admitted students and all admitted students with an Italian degree must graduate by our enrollment deadline date (4 November 2024).
All admitted students must be at Tor Vergata University for the beginning of the program (1 September 2025). The Admissions Office in July 2025 will provide detailed information (such as arrival, enrollment period, welcome meeting, and course schedule) to all students.
