EEBL students must know and follow general rules concerning exam preparation, release of the calendar for each exam session and the evalutation method used by our professors. All information can be found here.
Each exam is based on the course’s program and the relative material used for lectures, which are indicated by the professor at the beginning of lectures on the course’s webpage and other institutional means of communication. The University unertakes to guarantee free access to this material through the library, or via internet sites.
The professor, at the beginning of each course, provides the students with complete indications concerning how students will be tested. The evaluation of each student’s profile is related to the contents of the exam material. The exam can have a positive or a negative result. The student can withdraw by his own decision or by a professor’s suggestion, without completing the test. In this case, the withdrawal will be recorded without consequences for the student’s academic record.
For each exam session, exam dates must be placed at intervals of at least two weeks and they must avoid overlaps between dates of the exams for other courses belonging to the same semester of the same year of study or studies. Students may take exams in all sessions, in compliance with the prerequisites and eventual attestations of presence foreseen by the order of the studies. The calendar of exams is posted at least two months before the start of the exam sessions. Dates cannot be held earlier than expected, however, they may be postponed if necessary, with due notice. The appointed holder of the course guarantees his or her presence during the indicated exam dates, or, if impeded from participating, assures the presence of another professor.
Students have the right to know the results of their exams as well as the evaluation criteria used. The professor respects the dignity of the students in every phase of training and evaluation.
