The Graduation Committee evaluates the written paper and the oral presentation.

The score is expressed in one hundred and ten. The Examination Board is requested to comply with the attribution of a final score according to the following criteria.

To the curricular average transformed into one hundred and ten will be added:

  • maximum 5 points for the quality of the written paper and its presentation;
  • maximum 8 points in case of recommendation by the supervisor for a particularly valuable thesis. The recommendation letters of the supervisor and co-supervisor must be addressed to the President of the Examination Board, mentioning the reasons for their positive evaluation.

Cum laude: to the candidate who obtains the maximum score of 110/110, the Committee may, by unanimous and motivated resolution, award the distinction cum laude.
