VGen was founded in October 2018 among the desks of the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" by a group of students from the Faculty of Economics close to the startup ecosystem. In January 2019 VGen opened its first club in Milan thanks to a team of students from the University "Luigi Bocconi", with the support of several players in the world of innovation in Milan. Today, the community is present in 7 universities and 4 cities (Rome, Milan, Bologna and Singapore) and has over 200 members.
