Lazio Region Scholarships through LAZIODISCO

Applications open in spring every year for students to apply for scholarships, free student housing, financial aid, student dining service subsidies, and study abroad programmes. The EEBL offices will inform students regarding deadlines and required documents to be submitted. The amount awarded depends on several factors including student's economic situation and place of residence.

Laziodisco Study Grants
The maximum amounts awarded are established as follows:
€ 1 929,22 for “local” students;
€ 2 821,67 for “commuter” students;
€ 5 118,36 for “non-local” students.

Laziodisu Student Housing
In order to reduce the inconvenience of being distant from the University campus and to facilitate attendance at university courses, Laziodisu assigns free student housing in specific facilities, within the limits of availability, for a period not exceeding eleven months. Only “non-local students” enrolled at universities with registered campuses in Lazio Region may apply for subsidized student housing accommodation. Additional initiatives are published throughout the year.

Contributions to international mobility
Students who are beneficiaries of the Laziodisu study grants and enrolled at universities in Lazio Region, including those enrolled in doctoral courses, have the right, within the limits of availability of funds, to integrate the grant for participation in international mobility programmes only once in each degree cycle.

Awards for Graduates
Graduates of a bachelor degree, a master degree who finished their programme of study within the legal term of the course, may qualify for an additional sum of 50% of the scholarship obtained in the academic year of reference of the degree. If the number of applications is greater than the amount of funds being allocated, the award will be decided on the basis of the highest academic standing.
