Your mission

As an Audit trainee, you will:
• Assist management during the full cycle of your audit assignments;

Your profile

ESG Analyst

Our clients, specialised in Financial Services, are often well known brands and many have broad international reach. Your challenge:


As an ESG Analyst in Assurance, you will:

  • Take part in audit engagements for international clients in various business sectors aiming at providing assurance on non-financial information related to Sustainable Finance;
  • Implement our audit methodology (understanding and analysing the client’s environment, building an independent expectation, comparing client’s assessment and independent expectation, identifying gaps, converting findings into practical solutions, drafting recommendations and specific reports); 
  • Act as a sustainability expert and support members of extended audit teams on technical enquiries in sustainable finance field;

Tax & Accounting

Internship

Description

Our specialist Accountancy and Tax Compliance teams are looking for interns to help expand their activities. We are offering you an opportunity to undertake an internship and gain recognised experience by being involved in and helping the teams.


Your Mission:

• You will regularly manage and supervise the accounting, tax and legal aspects of a portfolio of local and international clients active in various business sectors. Your duties will be in accounting, consolidation, due diligence, tax returns and preparing annual accounts;
• You will help our teams to continually improve relations with our clients and develop our activities;
• In cooperation with all of the teams in the Accountancy and Tax Compliance department, as well as with other departments in our firm, you will help develop tailored client solutions and supervise their implementation. You will primarily work on analysing specific transactions (mergers/acquisitions/liquidations).

 

In summary, we are offering you the chance to work with our teams on a diverse client portfolio, enabling you to develop all the tax and accounting skills you need. This portfolio mainly consists of operating companies (subsidiaries of international groups or local companies), as well as holding companies active across various sectors.


Your profile:

• You are in your final year of a master’s degree in economics or management at a university or higher education institution and you are looking for a minimum 3-month end-of-study internship. A specialisation in accounting or taxation would be considered an asset;

Associate Transfer Pricing

Description

Transfer pricing (TP) refers to the allocation of profits for tax and other purposes between parts of a multinational corporate group. Transfer prices are useful in several ways. They can help a multinational company identify which part of their group is performing well or not so well. It also helps them avoid double taxation on the same profits.
Our TP team, operating within the Tax Consulting department, is made of 30 experts helping companies from the financial and non-financial sector deal with these issues.


As an Associate (m/f/d), you will:

• Advise clients on how to apply Transfer Pricing rules based on the arm’s length with the help of the OECD’s guidelines;
• Analyse Luxembourgish companies’ back-to-back loan structures and apply the local TP directive;
• Verify due diligence of the transfer pricing documentation of our clients;
• Work on avoiding double taxation and tax evasion between related parties of multinational groups;
• Participate in market studies, perform benchmarks and find comparable market transactions to set an acceptable transfer price;
• Elaborate Advance Pricing Agreements (contract between a taxpayer and a tax authority) specifying the pricing method that the taxpayers will apply to their related-company transactions;
• Analyse value chains and commercial business models for the purpose of advising on sustainable tax structures;
• Participate in the structuring of cross border transactions;
• Deal with the administrative management of the client’s files.

Your profile

 

• You have or will soon have a Master’s degree in economics with a minor in tax law (feel free to share the topic of your thesis in your application);
• You show an interest in accounting, finance and tax law;
• You have a strong interest in transfer pricing and a first professional experience in this field would be an asset;

• You are fluent in English. Speaking French and/or German would be considered as an asset.

Risk & Quality

(Senior) Associate (m/f/d)

Description

Our Risk & Quality department in Advisory is growing and we are looking for people who are eager to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment. Within our Risk & Quality department, you will be part of the R&Q Team taking care of ensuring compliance with applicable laws and network standards for matters related to R&Q. Moreover you will support our client facing teams in performing their necessary front-line compliance duties.

  • Will work on AML/CFT specific client assignments such as review and design of AML/CFT company programs or elements of it, AML Risk Assessments, Risk Appetite, distributor due diligence, audit of AML/CFT procedures and their application including customer due diligence files;

  • Will work with a variety of professional actors such as management companies, transfer agents, custodians, domiciliary agents;
