The "Piero Sraffa" Research and Documentation Center, in collaboration with the CLES - Center for Research and Studies on the Problems of Work, Economy and Development - announces a competition for the awarding of a Prize in 2019 named in memory of Paolo Leon, co-founder of the Center and Emeritus Professor of the Roma Tre University.
The Prize, promoted and financed by the CLES, amounts to € 3,000.00 and is intended for post-graduate students in economic disciplines of Italian universities who have completed a thesis with a theoretical or applied content in the areas of political economy, economic policy, public economy, industrial economy, applied economics, urban and regional economy, cultural economy, labor economics, education and training .
Selection criteria to be fulfilled:
- Italian or foreign graduates with a master's degree obtained after 1 January 2017 from an Italian university;
- graduates having a final score of at least 105/110;
- graduates having written an original thesis with theoretical or applied content that falls within the fields listed above.
