Examination type:  Oral and Written

ATTENDING STUDENTS:

Attending students may opt to provide an oral presentation, coupled with a written exam. The oral presentation topic will have to be selected among those proposed during the course. Details will be provided during lectures.

Students obtaining a mark larger than 21/30 in the oral presentation session, will have the choice to take a “reduced” written exam: the exam paper includes two (essay-type) questions and students will be required to answer ONLY ONE out of the two questions (additional answers will not be graded). The final grade will take into account the overall evaluation from both the oral presentation and the written exam.

NON-ATTENDING STUDENTS (OR ATTENDING STUDENTS NOT CHOOSING THE PREVIOUS OPTION):

The final exam is a written test consisting of two (essay-type) questions, where students are required to discuss some topics among those presented in class. The final grade is the average of the grades obtained in the two essays.
