Registration to the first year
2024/2025 ACADEMIC YEAR
Once they have received the Acceptance Letter, all admitted applicants must send an email to the Admissions Office to communicate their decision to confirm (or forego) enrollment in our program. To better organize our welcome activities and enrollment procedures, it would be very helpful to know your intentions as soon as you reach a decision.
The enrollment procedure at our University open in August 2024 and the deadline is 4 November 2024. Please note that admitted students are allowed to proceed with the enrollment only once they have completed their Bachelor's Degree:
- Admitted students who have not yet earned a Bachelor's Degree must attend classes starting on 2 September 2024 and graduate by the Autumn Session to regularize the enrolment in our program by the deadline (4 November 2024).
- Non-EU students with a foreign degree must graduate by the pre-enrollment deadline established by the Italian Embassy in their country. The pre-enrollment application on UniversItaly is mandatory for non-EU applicants not residing in Italy.
All admitted students who intend to enroll must be at Tor Vergata University for the beginning of the program (2 September 2024). We will provide in July detailed information (such as arrival, enrollment period, welcome meeting, and course schedule) to all students. All students must attend the program starting from the first semester, i.e., it is impossible to participate in the program from the second semester.

Information for EU Students with an Italian Degree
The enrollment procedure opens in August 2023, and the enrollment deadline is 6 November 2023.
1. Fill in the evaluation questionnaire on the "Quest Test" website.
2. Save the code of the questionnaire (CQ) issued by the system. Attention: the CQ has a validity of five days from the date of completion of the questionnaire; once it expires, it must be filled in again.
3. Connect to the Delphi system, select "Enrollment" (section 2), select "Start Application Procedure", and proceed with the registration by inserting your data.
4. Click on "Print" and the system will release the enrollment request and the form for the first installment payment. Pay the installment by PagoPA.
5. Log in to Delphi within 48 hours and confirm the payment by clicking on the "Confirm PagoPA" button.
6. The Delphi system will then indicate your student enrollment number (matricola) and a password allowing you to access your personal area in Delphi. Make sure to save this number and password!
7. Upload onto your personal area in Delphi:
- One recent passport-sized photograph
- A double-sided copy of your ID or passport
8. Starting from 1 September, students must book an appointment at the physical or virtual counter of the School of Economics Students Administrative Office for the recognition and validation of the photo and of the document uploaded by 16 December 2023. After concluding this validation procedure, your enrollment will be complete.
Information for non-EU Students with an Italian Degree who reside in Italy
The enrollment procedure opens in August 2023, and the enrollment deadline is 6 November 2023.
Please note that students must also present their original residence permit or a copy of the renewal request at the time of enrollment.

- Your original residence permit or a copy of the renewal request
The Students Administrative Office verifies your documents, and if everything is fine, the staff will validate the payment of the first installment. After validation, they will indicate your student enrollment number (matricola) and a password, allowing you to access the Delphi personal page. Make sure to save both the number and the password! Now the enrollment is complete.
Information for non-EU Students who reside abroad applying for a Study Visa
BEFORE YOUR LEAVE
1. PRE-ENROLLMENT THROUGH UNIVERSITALY
The 2023/2024 pre-enrollment procedure for the study visa is open. The pre-enrollment application on UniversItaly is mandatory for non-EU applicants not residing in Italy. Please fill out the online pre-enrollment application via the Universitaly Portal.
When filling out the application, please indicate:
- the University of Rome Tor Vergata as your chosen university;
- the University Program to which you have been admitted;
- the Embassy/Consulate where you will apply for an entry visa to Italy.
At the end of the procedure, you must upload your passport and the admission letter on the UniversItaly platform to validate your pre-enrollment. The pre-enrollment application will be verified by Tor Vergata University of Rome and forwarded to the Embassy or Consulate that you have indicated in your application. The pre-enrollment procedure will close on 31 July 2023. Since classes start on 4 September 2023, you are required to apply online via Universitaly and contact the Italian Embassy to deliver the necessary documentation as soon as possible.
The enrollment procedure at our university will open around the end of August. All students holding a foreign title need to provide at the time of enrollment the Statement of comparability issued by CIMEA. We strongly recommend you request the Statement of comparability of school and university degrees from CIMEA. In two weeks, CIMEA will issue these certificates in a digital format both to the candidate and the Tor Vergata International Students Office. 2. STUDY VISA REQUEST
International students must apply for a visa for study purposes through Universitaly by 30 November 2023. However, considering that classes start on 4 September 2023 and all admitted students who intend to enroll must be at Tor Vergata University for the beginning of the program, you are required to apply online via UniversItaly and contact the Italian Embassy for the delivery of the necessary documentation as soon as possible:
- Bachelor Degree
- Transcript of Exams or the Diploma Supplement
- Two recent passport-sized photographs
- The Admission Letter
- The pre-enrollment application that was downloaded at the end of the procedure and validated by Tor Vergata University

ONCE IN ITALY
When the Italian Embassy/Consulate in your country issues the Study Visa, students can leave for Italy. From the entry date, students have eight days to request a residence permit from the Police Office (Questura). Students must also request the Italian Fiscal Code and have valid health insurance. Students who face problems may contact the Welcome Office for assistance.
1. STAY PERMIT REQUEST
Within the first eight days after arrival in Italy with a “D” national type visa for Study, you will be required to apply for the Stay Permit at the “Questura” (specific police office) of the city where you intend to establish your residence.
2. FISCAL CODE REQUEST
The Italian fiscal code is a 16-digit alphanumeric code issued by the “Agenzia delle Entrate” for free, which uniquely identifies Italian and foreign citizens. With the fiscal code you may:
- Enroll in an Italian University
- Open a bank account
- Sign a contract (rent, telephone contract, etc..)
- Register for the National Health System (SSN)
4. ENROLLMENT AT TOR VERGATA UNIVERSITY
The enrollment procedure opens in August 2023, and the enrollment deadline is 6 November 2023.
1. Connect to the Delphi platform, select “enrollment”, and then “Start application procedures”.
2. Please read the information carefully about your data protection and confirm that you are willing to proceed. Fill in the personal information sections and select the academic program you have been admitted to.
3. The system will ask you to enter your bachelor’s degree title and select “Print”: the system will release the registration application with the list of documents to upload. Please keep the CTRL and the Fiscal Code that the system automatically generates. They will be useful for completing the procedure and for future purposes.
4. Return to the student’s area and select point B “I’ve already filled in an application”. Enter your Fiscal Code and CTRL. Upload the documents required for the enrollment. It is necessary to upload ONE .pdf file for each document:
- Statement of Comparability by CIMEA
- Transcript of Exams translated and validated or the Diploma Supplement
- Final Degree translated and validated
- Copy of your residence permit request
- Copy of your Italian Fiscal Code
5. The International Students Office will check the documentation you have uploaded. If all the documents are in order and nothing is missing, it will enable you to enroll: you will receive an email with the instructions to pay the first installment and to validate the payment.
6. The payment validation will allow you to obtain your student ID number (matricola) and password to access your academic career management at Tor Vergata.
7. After that, book an appointment with the International Students Office to submit the hard copies of the documents uploaded on Delphi (Via Cracovia n. 50 - Building D - ground floor) by 16 December 2023. Book your appointment.
NOTE: If the documentation provided relating to the foreign qualification is not in order, the enrollment will be automatically canceled.
SOME ADVICE FROM TOR VERGATA UNIVERSITY
Tor Vergata University only accepts the Statement of Comparability by CIMEA for enrollment purposes. In two weeks, CIMEA issues the certificates in a digital format both to the candidate and the Tor Vergata International Students Office, which guarantees the validity of the degree and allows students to proceed with the enrollment on time. Information for EU Students with a non-Italian Degree and non-EU students who reside in Italy with a non-Italian Degree
