I informe you that the results of the December written exam will most likely be published on Sunday, 21 December, and that the (optional) review of the exam may take place on Monday morning, 22 December.

Due to an overlap with a class exercise, the Asset Management lecture originally scheduled for Thursday, December 4th has been moved to Wednesday, December 10th at 4:00 p.m.

FORMAT PRESENTAZIONE DOMANDA TESI - POMANTE
Gentili studenti, a seguito delle numerose richieste pervenute, affido a questo Avviso il compito di comunicare le modalità con cui devono pervenire le richieste di tesi:
(1) Le richieste devono pervenire tassativamente in data 10 Novembre 2025, nell'intervallo temporale 07:00-21:00. NE' PRIMA NE' DOPO TALE INTERVALLO.
(2) La richiesta deve essere inviata per email al mio indirizzo di posta elettronica (ugo.pomante@uniroma2.it), compilando ed allegando il file excel (Format Richiesta Tesi) presente in “Materiale Didattico” sezione PRESENTAZIONE DOMANDA TESI RELATORE POMANTE.
In seguito alle richieste pervenute, ed alla luce del numero di studenti che ho laureato nella sessione di laurea autunnale, effettuerò la selezione di sei (6) nuovi tesisti così selezionati:
- due (2) proposte di tesi da me ritenute più interessante per Modelli e Tecniche di Gestione dei Rischi;
- due (2) proposte di tesi da me ritenute più interessante per Asset Management;
- due (2) proposte di tesi da me ritenute più interessante per Portfolio Management;

Mi scuso anticipatamente con gli studenti la cui proposta non potrà essere accolta.
N.B.: ALLA LUCE DEL FATTO CHE LO STUDENTE PUO' SCEGLIERE LIBERAMENTE L'ARGOMENTO DELLA TESI, FARE LA TESI CON IL SOTTOSCRITTO SIGNIFICA LAVORARE IN MODO AUTONOMO. LO STUDENTE DEVE QUINDI AVERE LA MATURITA' DI PORTARE A COMPIMENTO CON AUTONOMIA UN TEMA CHE LUI STESSO HA PROPOSTO E QUINDI HA IMPLICITAMENTE RICONOSCIUTO ALLA SUA PORTATA.

Entro il 14 Novembre 2025 renderò noto (via email) l'esito della call.

La prossima call verrà effettuata tra il 10 e il 13 Aprile 2026.

HOW TO PRESENT THE THESIS REQUEST - POMANTE
Dear students, following the many requests I have received, I give this Notice the task of communicating how the Thesis request must be presented.
(1) Application must be received strictly on November 10, 2025, in the time interval from 7am to 9pm. NEITHER BEFORE NOR AFTER THIS INTERVAL.
(2) The request must be sent by e-mail to my e-mail address (ugo.pomante@uniroma2.it), filling in and attaching the excel file (Thesis Presentation) downloadable in "Teaching Material/Materiale Didattico", section “How to present the thesis request – POMANTE”.
I will select sei (6) new thesis:
- two (2) thesis proposals that I consider most interesting on Modelli e Tecniche di Gestione dei Rischi;
- two (2) thesis proposals that I consider most interesting on Asset Management;
- two (2) thesis proposals that I consider most interesting on Portfolio Management;

I apologize in advance with the students whose proposal cannot be accepted.
N.B.: AS THE STUDENT CAN CHOOSE FREEDOMLY THE TOPIC OF THE THESIS, SHE/HE MUST WORK WITH AUTONOMY ON THE ARGUMENT THAT HERSELF /HIMSELF HAS PROPOSED.

By 14 November, 2025 I will communicate (via email) the results of the call.

The next call will be made 10-13 April 2026.
