PROGRAM/LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The course aims at providing students with theoretical framework and practical skills concerning business valuation. Based on relevant real-world case studies the course focuses on the main topics in corporate finance related to valuation issues.

The main methods of corporate valuation applied by the financial community (investment banks and advisory/consulting firms) will be analyzed and discussed, such as DCF and multiples method.

The main subjects of the course will be the following:
• Business Planning
• Corporate Valuation
• Valuation Issues

Objective of the course is providing students with the theoretical tools and practical techniques used in corporate valuation. Therefore, it is appropriate for students who are willing to pursue a career in investment banking, financial advisory and business consulting. The course is also suitable for students who wish to broaden their understanding of corporate finance concepts and corporate valuation techniques.
