Placement Meeting

As of September, Professor Giorgio Gulino will serve as the Placement Director for the new academic year, supporting students as they plan their post-Master’s paths, whether in academia or the job market.
The Placement meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 18 at 11:00, offering guidance and resources to help students prepare for their next steps.
In the meantime, students considering a PhD—either in Italy or abroad—are strongly encouraged to begin preparing for the GRE test, which is often a key requirement in doctoral program applications. Early preparation is essential, as achieving a competitive score may require multiple attempts. The ideal testing window is between September and November.
Even for those not exclusively pursuing an academic career, a PhD can open valuable professional opportunities in both the public and private sectors, domestically and internationally.
Students are advised to become familiar with the GRE test format over the summer and to begin studying seriously if they plan to apply to PhD programs.
