The aim of the course is to familiarize the students with STATA's basic tools, especially those useful to carry out descriptive data analysis and basic econometric analysis.
The course is presented in 4 parts:
- Data management;
- Introduction to STATA programming;
- Descriptive statistics: tables and graphs;
- Loops and Macros;
- Basic Econometrics.
Course prerequisites and material
Students are supposed to have basic notions of Statistics and Econometrics. Being able to manage comma separated files is a prerequisite.
