Short bio
I am full professor of Statistics. I have extensive consulting experience in several fields. I am author or co-author of about 250 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, often accompanied by software packages; and two Ph.D. level books. I am listed as one of the top Italian scientists by Via-academy and in Ioannidis et al. (2020) as among the top 100,000 scientists in the world, across all fields. Specifically, for the subfield  “Statistics & Probability” I am ranked as 177th in the world, 2nd in Italy.
