I studied Mathematics at the University of Rome “La Sapienza" where I earned a Master’s degree in Mathematics (1986). I got my Phd in Mathematics  at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” in 1992. From 1994 to 2001 I was Assistant Professor (Ricercatore) at the Politecnico di Torino before moving to the University of Chieti-Pescara “Gabriele d’Annunzio” (2001-2003); in 2003 I returned to Tor Vergata where I became Associated Professor in 2015.
