I am Professor of Economics at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” where I teache courses in Macroeconomics and Applied Health Economics at graduate and post graduate level. I am also adjunct associate of the Center for Health Policy at Stanford University where I have been visiting professor several times, Scientific Director of the Farmafactoring Foundation, and past President of the Italian Health Economic Association (AIES). I have coordinated several European projects and received financial support by the European Science Foundation. My research activity focuses on applied economics with special emphasis in the health care sector. The results of my research activity have been published on several international refereed journals as well books.
