Description

The 2026 edition of the BA&E Challenge is joinly organized with the Risk Management Deparment of Price Waterhouse Coopers. 

The topic of the challenge will be the credit risk management. Students will be involved in evaluating the risk of a set of companies on the basis of matrix provided by PWC. Students will have to download the data of the companies from AIDA Bureau Van DijK and construct and excel file for evaluating the companies.

Students will learn how to analyse balance sheet data for measuring the credit risk exposure of a company.

Kick-off meeting

Presentation of the company and disclosure of the Case study scenario and the rules/deadlines for the challenge. The meeting will be organised in present at the School of Economics of Tor Vergata University of Rome. The event will be open only to the students enrolled in the challenge.

Intermediate debriefing

Debriefing online in which the students have to present the main result and ideas in 5 minutes. The event will be open only to the students enrolled in the challenge.

Final event

Final event of the challenge with presentations done directly by the students. Each participant will prepare a presentation of 20 minutes and there will be a discussion with the top management and the faculty involved in the challenge. The event is open to the public.

Enrollment procedure

The challenge is compulsory for all the students enrolled in the dual degree program between Tor Vergata University of Rome and Toulouse School of Management. For all other students the overall number of spots available is 20 and the priority will be given on the basis of the application date and time (First-Come-First-Served).
