Learning Objectives

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
The extra activity (entirely in English) aims to expose students to the world of private equity and venture capital, a sector increasingly important in the modern economy, both in purely macroeconomic terms and in terms of employment opportunities for students. The course presents the dynamics of the sector, the role of the asset manager, and the functioning of an investment fund with a practical approach. Leading professionals in the sector have participated as guest speakers.

APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
Knowing the basic principles of the sector, with particular attention to the identification of actors and the dynamics among stakeholders.

MAKING JUDGEMENTS
Ability to critically interpret actions and information present in the media related to the industry.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Ability to demonstrate understanding of the sector

LEARNING SKILLS:
Being able to explain the structure and dynamics of the sector
