I have completed all the exams required by my study plan. What happens next?
After completing all the required exams in their study plan, in order to become graduates, BA&E students have to complete the last step that marks the end of therir bachelor academic career: the bachelor thesis.
In order to do so, you will need to choose a topic and find a supervisor (relatore).
When can I apply for graduation? How many graduation sessions are there?
Students can graduate after completing all the exams included in their study plan (mandatory courses, optional courses and extra activity) and the bachelor thesis.
There are two plus one graduation sessions for each academic year.
The first one (Summer Graduation Session) takes place at the end of the sixth semester, or the spring semester of the third year.
There is a second one in October (Autumn graduation session), for students who might want to
Students enrolled in a given academic year can choose to graduate in the Summer Graduation Session or the Autumn graduation session.
The dates of the Graduation sessions are published in the Website of the School of Economics, under Didattica > Programmazione Didattica.
Students who do not manage to complete all the exams and/or the bachelor thesis within the October gradiation session deadlines, will also have the opportunity to graduate in March of the following year, by taking advantage of the Precautionary enrollment option (for more details, see below), or in the Graduation session of the following years, by enrolling for one additional year (Fuoricorso).
Why are there two dates (Riunione della Commissione and Cerimonia di consegna dei diplomi) for each graduation session?
For each graduation session, two dates are marked.
The first one - Riunione della Commissione - marks the meeting of the Committee that will evaluate and mark the theses.
Graduating students do not have to be present on this day.
The second one - Cerimonia di Consegna dei diplomi, marks the Graduation Ceremony, in which graduated students will receive the diploma.
Graduated students are welcome to join with their families and friends.
How can I apply for graduation? Where can I find the list of documents and the procedure to follow to submit the request?
The procedure to follow, the required documents and the deadlines can be found on a PDF, available in Italian and in English, published generally a couple of months before the graduation session on the website of the School of Economics > Didattica > Lauree e prove finali.

What is Turnitin and how do I obtain Turnitin credentials?
Turnitin is the antiplagiarism and AI detection software used by Tor Vergata University to check students theses.
Students who have applied for graduation on DELPHI are going to receive by the Program Office the invitation to join Turnitin after the deadline for applying for graduation.

Can I choose as supervisor a professor whose exam I did not pass?
No, it is not possible.
Will I have to present my thesis in front of a committee?
No, students enrolled in the BSc Business Administration and Economics do not have to present the thesis in front of a committee.
Do I have to print my thesis?
No, printing the thesis is not mandatory.
However, students can print the thesis and bring it to the Graduation Ceremony, if they wish.
What happens if I do not complete all the exam during my third year?
If you do not complete all the exams of your study plan within the three years of the program, there are two different options available, depending on the missing number of credits and, consequently, on the additional time you might need to complete the required exams.
The two options are:
- Precautionary enrollment - for students planning on graduating in the Winter session (in March) of the following year;
- Enrollment to the fourth academic year (Fuori corso) - for students who need more time to finisch
