2. Obiettivi formativi.

- Bin - Pitruzzella, Diritto pubblico, XVIII ed., Torino, Giappichelli, 2020;
- Macchia, Amministrare la democrazia, Napoli, Editoriale scientifica, 2021.
L'esame verterà su entrambi i testi indicati.

Public law
Academic year 2020/21
The course is designed to explore, through lectures, the following topics, which are part of the programme of Institutions of Public Law: the notion of legal system; forms of state and forms of government; sources of law: European and international; primary, secondary, state and regional sources; powers, functions and prerogatives of Parliament; the President of the Republic; the Government; public administration.
1. Course programme. The course will begin in April 2021 and end in May 2021, as per the teaching schedule. Classes will be held on Wednesdays (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.), Thursdays and Fridays (9 a.m. to 11 a.m.).
2. Educational objectives. The course aims at enriching the students' cultural background in two ways: substantive and methodological. From the first point of view, the course focuses on the main institutions of public law, considered both in terms of their legal significance and their effects on the organisation and functioning of public authorities. From the other point of view, this is a law in action course: for each part of the programme, cases and materials will be made available and discussed in the classroom, in order to accustom students to the use of legal documents.
3. Organization. Attendance of the course is recommended. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to organise a written test for this year due to the pandemic emergency.
