General Management - Results and Proposed Grades - Written Test, May, 20th, 2024

sabato 25 maggio 2024

Dear All,

the results and proposed grades are now online (exam sections).

How to read the "pdf":

1) "Written Test" Column: the evaluation of your written test performed on May, 20th, 2024 (please, note that, in the case of students performing only module 2, the evaluation in that Column only regards module 2);

2) "Final" Column: in the case of students performing the complete test from the beginning on May, 20th, 2024, the score in that column is equal to that in the "Written Test" Column; instead, in the case of students already having the mid-term score, the score in the "Final" Column is the average between the mid-term score and the May, 20th, score;

3) "McGraw Hill" Column: the software extrapoints received at individual level;

4) "Proposed" Column: this is the final grade proposed for registration. It also includes the software extrapoints when present.

On this premise:

1) students who simply want to accept the proposed grade will be allowed to do this in remote (I will open a Teams meeting on May, 27th, 2024, 2pm). Of course, if they want to come to Tor Vergata, they are always more than welcome;

2) instead, students who want to perform the integrative oral (+2/-2 potential variations) NEED to come in person to Tor Vergata. Questions can regard the overall syllabus;

3) Accepting/Refusing a grade cannot be postponed. If grades are not explicitly accepted on May, 20th, 2024, they will be automatically considered as refused.

4) Students who want to see the tests can come on May, 20th, after the oral session is over, or in any of the subsequent weekly office hours.

Thank you very much and best wishes.

McGraw Hill - Practice Operations Extrapoints

sabato 25 maggio 2024

Dear All,

good afternoon.

The extrapoints related to the software evaluation are now on the website (exams sections).

Although only the referents of the 30 groups who have performed the simulation are mentioned, it is clear that, as you know, all the groups' components will be receive these extrapoints at individual level. As you also know: 1) the extrapoints are valid for all the a.y. 2023/24; 2) to be added, the written test needs at least to be sufficient.

On this premise, the explanation for the slight difference in terms of evaluation is simple: after having compared the overall performance, we decided for: a +1 to all the groups who scored up to 89%; a +1,5 to all the groups who reached between 90%-94%; a +2 to all the groups who reached between 95%-99% (no group scored 100%!).

Overall, hopefully the software experience will help you enter a managerial mindset very soon.

Thanks for the engagement and best wishes.

Gianpaolo Abatecola and Anastassia Zannoni

IMPORTANT: REGISTRATION DATE/INTEGRATIVE ORAL FOR THE FIRST SUMMER CALL POSTPONED TO MAY, 27TH, 2PM (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ALL THE MAIL’S CONTENT)

venerdì 17 maggio 2024

Dear All,

because of organizational reasons, the registration/integrative oral date for this first Summer call of General Management has been moved from 24th May, 9am, to 27th May, 2pm.

On this premise:

1) presence will be required only for those students who want to perform the integrative oral (whole syllabus). Instead, those students who will simply have to register the grade of the written test (plus the eventual software extrapoints) will be given the possibility to stay in remote (I will open a Teams meeting);

2) instead, the two other dates (20th May, 9am – written; 24th May, 10am – software) DO NOT CHANGE;

3) Finally, please remember that there is no need to communicate me in advance whether you accept the result of the mid term or not. In case you are sitting on May, 20th, you will be asked whether you want to perform only module 2, or if you want to perform the entire exam (in the latter case, the mid term grade automatically expires). Of course, if you do not sit on May, 20th, the mid term grade also expires.

Thanks and looking forward to seeing you on Monday.

Best wishes.
