Weekly Updates - Week 2

giovedì 29 febbraio 2024

Dear All,

thanks for joining the second week of the General Management classes of our Bachelor in Business Administration and Economics.

In terms of class materials, the topics regarding the evolution of management thought (Taylor, Weber, Fayol, Barnard) can be found in Chapter 1 of the textbook, which is now over. I've also uploaded the slides presented in the classroom.

On Wednesday, we have also started discussing about the comparison between biological and business systems, which is the core of the class material article (course website) about "systemness and evolution". We will continue with this comparison (and with the explanation of that article) during the first lecture of the next week.

Looking forward to seeing you in the classroom on Monday, 4th, March.
