Laziodisu
The Organization for the Right to University Studies in Lazio (Laziodisu) assigns to the extent of their availability and for a period not exceeding 11 months of the year (except August), housing accommodation at its offsite students enrolled in a degree programme in one of the universities of Lazio. The Notice of competitions, which Laziodisu publish annually between August and September, allows winner students to enjoy the benefits on the basis of economic requirements (calculated by the ISEE - indicator of equivalent economic situation) and merit. Among the various benefits the student can have access is the accommodation, which is however generally assigned around mid-November. Only “non-resident students” of Lazio-based universities can apply for accommodation in such halls of residences. CampusX “Tor Vergata”, a community that embraces different people and cultures, fostering an international environment by promoting the principles of integration and cohesion among people who live, learn and work around Tor Vergata University. Living and learning are intimately linked, since the Campus provides a wide range of services and student life programmes designed to meet the students' needs and concerns. With its design based on the model of Domus Romana, the residence was created to promote cohesiveness and sociability of its residents. The structure offers 1,540 beds, divided into 17 units on an area of 50,000 square meters with 15,000 square meters of green areas. The 17 units are grouped around a large park area equipped for sports and sport-related lifestyle. The rooms, in the various types of apartments, have been furnished to meet all the needs of an off-site student: quiet studying, comfortable living and spaces for socializing and sharing.
Residence Tor Vergata
The Best Western Hotel of Tor Vergata offers to our students a Residence located in Via Fernando Conti, 55 - on the upper level of a shopping center not far away from the Hotel. The Residence includes 44 apartments, for a total of 180 beds. All the apartments are equipped with microwave, grill, fridge and TV. Bathroom has a large shower or bath, furniture oddments, spotlights and hairdryer. The ADSL connection and high-speed WIFI is available in all the building. Plus, water, electricity, use of sheets and linings ,are included in the cost of the apartments. There’s a common washing machine and a dryer inside the Residence for all the tenants. A free gym and outdoor swimming pool are available in Via Vico Viganò, 24 - where the Hotel is located.
