Hi everyone. I’m sumbul, from Pakistan. I’m 19 years old. I have always loved traveling and experiencing new cultures as it has allowed me to experience the cultural and man-made wonders of the world. I have travelled a lot in the past few years. I always had this strong desire for attaining a professional career that is demanding and versatile, distinctly preparing me to face the odds of society with confidence and knowledge based skills. When I chanced upon the global governance programme of Tor Vergata and it’s great emphasis on an intimate and overridingly personal model of education,my preconceived notions were dashed, I knew that this is where I belong. I got overwhelmingly delighted on finding what I was searching for. Global governance fulfills my aspiration. It will not only provide me with a diverse and challenging environment, but would also facilitate in expanding my boundaries even farther as a part of an effective teamwork. To me it feels like starting altogether a new life with such great colleagues, coming from all over the world, with rich social fibre and cultural values giving me an opportunity to groom myself into a better human being.
I was also fortunate to undertake volunteer programme at FAO, Rome
for developing humanitarian crisis management. I have been engaged in humanitarian work for quite a long time.
I’m really looking forward to the coming years. I would like to quote something here.
“Saving one life means saving humanity”
