My name is Giulia Maria, but people call me a variety of shorter nicknames. Challenges excite me: I love the adrenaline of the unknown, handling situations I’ve never experienced before and finding ways to get by. I like to experiment since I believe that personality is not a static compartment but rather an ever-evolving entity. I might come across as pretty quixotic, but I have come to be quite reflexive and pragmatic in the year I spent as Students’ Representative, an experience that forced me to face not what I could do best, but rather what I could do worst: I broke out of my individualism and learned to constantly doubt myself. I am excited to be a GG1 to call into question, reinforce or completely dismantle my convictions and to face new challenges alongside my coursemates.
