Crisanti Giovanni

My name is Giovanni Crisanti. I am 18 years old and I am looking forward to starting my studies at Global Governance. I strongly believe that this course will give me the opportunity to study a wide range of subjects concerning the world’s trend and progress and the way of solving global issues. I think that the possibility of knowing people from all over the planet is a chance to see them from many points of view and to understand better which is the right way of facing them in order for me to benefit from all the countries. Collaborating and interacting with people really fascinates and attracts me because I love to make my knowledge and my experience available for common good and people who exchange their knowledge and background in return. That is the reason why I decided to take part as a delegate before and then, as an organizer at RIMUN (Rome International Model of United Nations) which is one of the best experiences you can try if you want to meet people and discuss about global issues in order to find solid solutions. This year I also decided to try the role of Senior Class President at my school, in order to make something concrete to improve it. It was very hard to mediate between students and teachers, but it is very challenging and rewarding to see how people of different ages and ideals can work together. I love art, I have been playing in a drama company for 6 years and acting is one of the best way of spreading messages and ideals to people. Art is the mean which allows the audience to be seduced through culture and not just a speech or tweet. I love music, in particular the piano and the guitar, and I will never leave these hobbies. I have been a scout and what I most liked of that fantastic role, the boy scout, is the motto promoted by Baden Powell “Try and leave this world a little better than you found it, and when your turn comes to die, you can die happy in feeling that at any rate, you have not wasted your time but have done your best.”
Every man has got some skills, some particular aspects which make him unique and useful. That is the reason why nobody should be working only for himself, but should give a little help to his community. Global Governance is giving me the instruments and the means to render in the best way and to be a resource for anyone who needs what I can give.
