My name is Chantal. I am 21 years old and I am from Moncton, New Brunswick, a small city on the east coast of Canada. I became interested in development and specifically human rights issues in 2013 when I took my first humanitarian trip to Haiti. Not only that, but I have always loved traveling and experiencing new cultures and learning as much as I can about them.
I studied International Development Studies for two years at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and completed a year studying German as a foreign language in Freiburg, Germany. After a few months of living in Germany, I fell in love with Europe, and I knew this is where I wanted to continue my studies. When I found out about the Global Governance program, I knew it would be a perfect fit for me!
When I am not studying or traveling, you can find me enjoying (and only sometimes obsessing over) musical theatre, playing piano or people watching and drinking coffee outside on a patio!
