My name is Flavio Mancini, I am Italian, 23 years old, and graduated in Global Governance. I consider Global Governance vital in the process of shaping students' personality. For me, it has been the catalyst for learning how to appreciate the richness and diversity of the world. In between my second and third year, I had the wonderful opportunity of collaborating with the NGO “Terre des hommes – CORE” for an Internship in India, focused on the implementation of social media in order to ensure greater visibility and to attract volunteers. This experience confirmed and strengthened my interior inclination toward social commitment and gave me awareness of the willingness for taking part to experiences abroad in order to broaden my vision and develop a cross-cultural mentality. Currently, I am concluding a Master Program in Development and International Relations by the Aalborg University, in Denmark. As part of this program, I have got the chance of spending the third semester doing an internship by Ashoka Italy, a leading organization in the world of social entrepreneurship. At the end of my studies, I hope to demonstrate my competence and passion in the field of International Development.
