Hello! My name is Naz, and I was born in Istanbul, Turkey. Growing up in such a historically rich and diverse city sparked my interest in different cultures and global perspectives, which is one of the main reasons I chose to study Global Governance at Tor Vergata University. During high school, I had the opportunity to participate in the International Award for Young People (Duke of Edinburgh’s Award), which helped me grow both personally and socially. It taught me the value of resilience, teamwork, and stepping outside of my comfort zone. Outside of academics, I love expressing myself through dance, which brings me joy and confidence. I also enjoy swimming and playing tennis, as they help me stay active and focused. These hobbies have taught me patience, discipline, and balance — both in sports and in life. I’m really excited to join the international environment at Tor Vergata, meet new people, and contribute to a vibrant, diverse community.
