Hi! I’m Mert, 18 years old, from Istanbul, Turkey. I’m excited to join the Global Governance program at Tor Vergata and begin this new chapter in my life. I’ve always been passionate about understanding how societies function, how cultures interact, and how global systems shape our daily lives. I love reading; especially literature, politics, and philosophy and I’m always up for a good debate or thoughtful conversation. Cinema and music are a big part of my life as well. On the other hand, Traveling and learning about different ways of life inspires me deeply and fuels my curiosity. I chose this program because I want to be a part of something meaningful, where I can learn alongside people from all over the world, explore important global issues, and grow both intellectually and personally. I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone, sharing ideas, and building great memories in Rome :)
