VU DANG Giang
I’m Dang Giang, born in Ukraine but now living in Hanoi, Vietnam, and I’ve always felt like my life has been shaped by different cultures and perspectives. I’ve loved travelling for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been lucky enough to see a big part of the world—Europe, most of Asia, America, Australia, and even Hawaii. Every trip has left me with something unforgettable, whether it’s chatting with locals, getting lost in small streets, or discovering a dish I can’t stop thinking about. I’m a big food lover—not just eating but learning the stories and traditions behind each meal—and I’m just as passionate about video games, where I can dive into creative worlds and test my problem-solving skills, and sports, which keep me active and connected to people. All of this ties into why I chose to study Global Governance—it’s a field that brings together politics, economics, law, and culture, and it helps make sense of how our interconnected world really works. My travels have shown me that a local issue in one country can be linked to something happening halfway across the globe, and solving big challenges like climate change, inequality, or migration needs teamwork between nations. Studying at Tor Vergata University in Italy feels like the perfect chance to dive deeper into these ideas—Italy’s history, its role in Europe, and its culture make it an inspiring place to learn, and I can’t wait to meet classmates from all over the world.
