Mirko Armillotta is an Assistant Professor of Statistics (Tenure-track) at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Department of Economics and Finance.
He held a Research Associate position at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Postdoctoral position at the University of Cyprus. He was a visiting researcher at Lancaster University, United Kingdom.
Mirko Armillotta received the Award for the Best Ph.D. Thesis in Statistics 2022 by the Italian Statistical Society, and also held a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship financed by the European Commission.
His main research interests include: Statistical Theory and Methods, Time Series Analysis, Econometrics, Integer and Network time series, Observation-driven models, Forecasting.
