FINAL WORK EXAM - INSTRUCTIONS
Dear students,
as announced in class, I have uploaded the instructions for you Final Work in Materiale Didattico, folder "EXAMS".
READ ATTENTIVELY, follow them and it will go smooth.
Your product will be about your personal take-aways from the course and for your future. So, important stuff.
8 students are still not enrolled on DIDA. FYI.
I will keep you posted with the (long) evaluation and grading process, including today's test and next appointment for non-attending students. Be patient, everything will come in due time.
I liked very much your Stratex Work, I am sure you will do very good also on this last assignment.
Best of luck!

MIDTERM 8.4.26 - Important info
Dear students,
Classmarker has sent the login data to all of the test-takers. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE SPAM FOLDER!
For some reason, the last batch of credentials has been sent twice... no sweat, just pick the first you got and ignore the other.
If you are enrolled and have not received the credentials, no problem. Write an email to globalgovernancegil@gmail.com and tomorrow morning we'll fix it.
ALL THE STUDENTS, THOSE WHO ARE ENROLLED ON DELPHI FOR THE TEST AND THOSE WHO ARE NOT, MUST COME TO THE STRATEX PRESENTATION. It will start at 10.15, T2 classroom. Check anyway the Board at the entrance.
Remember the ID card, and possibly a computer (or an alternative device) is necessary.
See you tomorrow for another part of our journey ... I am really looking forward to your Stratex projects!
Sleep tight tonight, be sharp tomorrow!

MIDTERM EXAM - MISSING ENROLLMENT
Dear students,
this mail is meant mainly for those who have written to me, because they failed to enroll on Delphi for the Midterm exam. This is a required activity as for university regulations. Some lamented technical issues, that could be prevented by enrolling in due time, well before the deadline. Nevertheless, I decided to be forthcoming and assume goof faith. Therefore, I accepted the requests and started to enroll students. I found that some of them did not even join DIDA, preventing effective participation to the GIL course. This is a most serious negligence. Those not on DIDA will not be enrolled in the Midterm and in any case will sustain a special exam in June. They must anyway take part to the Stratex presentations, if they want the Stratex grade. The others, check to be enrolled on Delphi.
I ask the representatives to forward this mail to all students, also the ones not on DIDA.
In doubt, I strongly suggest to come tomorrow anyway.
Best of luck
Fernando Giancotti
MID-TERM EXAM, NON - ATTENDING STATUS
Dear students,
many of of those in the list of non-attending students have written to me in this Easter Day.
Here the urgent (and obvious) first answer: DO COME TO THE MID-TERM EXAM ON THE 8TH OF APRIL.
The non-attending students will have to do another exam. The type and date will be decided with the Course Direction, after careful and fair analysis. Nothing dramatic, anyway.
We will let you know in the next days.
Serene Easter Holidays!

AMENDMENT TO THE MID-TERM EXAM INSTRUCTIONS
Dear students,

WRONG DELIVERABLE UPLOAD - WRONG NAMING - STRATEX 2
Dear students,
I sent an email to you to about the mistakes done uploading the files yesterday. Not all groups, but about half of them put the deliverables in the wrong floder or with the wrong name. Unfortunately, for some reason, the mail did not get through and I lost the work done to sort out the mess.
So now, mistakes will not be penalized, al long as group representatives make sure that the deliverables are loaded in the proper folder with the proper name asap. Every deliverable session should be loaded, as in the Exercise Guidance, clicking the link to the folder named HERE in blue underlined, clearly indicated in the instructions. That will lead to the right folder. Each session has its own Stratex 1, 2, 3, Final folder.
Hurry up!
FG

Group role appointment communication
TO ALL GROUPS:
Those groups which did not communicate the names of the 2 group representatives, 2 supervisors and 2 red team, please do so before class tomorrow, with an email of the representatives to globalgovernancegil@gmail.com.
Have a good night
FG
Stratex 1 file upload.
Dear students,
I know that some of you did not receive immediate access to the folder, as duly communicated from you representatives.
DO NOT WORRY! I have now cleared all access request and in any case I can see the time of you requests. Nodoby will penalized for that. I appreciate your taking most care of your deliverables upload.
I am happy of your work today, better than average, and tomorrow will be better!
See you soon!

Reading Assignment for Stratex 1 - 31.3.26
Dear students,
on DIDA "Leading Generative AI" you will find the new material to read for tomorrow's session: Slides 1.2, AI 2 Prompt examples, new Aware use of AI Handout. Get them down cold!
It is now really important that you get very familiar with ALL the material pointed out in the last days for the Stratex. For the next days, you can be not just in university classes, but in a truly transformative experience for yourself and your future. If you take charge and dedicate all your energy to the common task, for the common (and individual: win-win ; ) good.
See you shortly!

STARTING THE STRATEX 26 - MATERIAL ON DIDA
Dear students,
after a long week-end of work, we just uploaded all necessary updated STRATEX files on DIDA. After reading the assignment for class tomorrow, from the previous slide, you must read thorougly the Exercise Guidance, and the EUC4PP with its ANNEX A, Logbook compilation. We also loaded a document on the EU and the disinformation, for your convenience. You will see that many of the deliverables need tools on DIDA: get organized to understand and use them effectively. Since one of the first deliverables will be about Mission and Vision, I suggest to read soon the Handout and especially the feedback to the M&V exercise we did on SLIDO.
Tomorrow we will answer possible questions.
Have a good night and see you all tomorrow!
The teaching Team, FG & MC

STRATEX PREPARATION - INTRODUCTORY NOTES
Dear students, on Monday the 30th at 16.00 we will start our Stratex 26 exercise. In the Intro part, we will have a 2 hour-class on responsible use of Gen AI. You will not work on the deliverables. That will be from Tuesday. Every year the exercise changes, because of new horizons and challenges and new technological developments. We are finalizing the details of the exercise material, but we want you to start looking as soon as possible to the fundamentals. On DIDA you will find the Stratex 26 folder, with a draft Exercise Guidance and EUC4PP. Links are not to be used. Read them carefully! You also find a Six Why's and Purpose Driven Cognition Handout that you all should read, together with all the material you find, that you will have to apply in your work. The "Leading Generative AI folder is not up-to date yet, we are working through the week-end. But you can have an idea of last year concepts: they are still mostly valid. On Sunday we will load the new stuff. Annex A and ANNEX B are under construction.
Until tomorrow, you have plenty of stuff to look at. Tomorrow night you will have the last version, complete material. You have Monday morning and Tuesday morning to go deeper.
Excited to go into this adventure with you all, new mail tomorrow!
Have a good, strategic week.end!
