Selene GRUBE
My name is Selene Grube, I´m 20 years old and from Stuttgart, Germany. I have a passion for traveling and learning about new cultures which started while living in the US with my parents for three years. The wish to work internationally got even stronger while I spent six months in a New Zealand high school. Since finishing high school in Germany two years ago I have done an internship at a social institution for social projects, spent a year volunteering in Latin America where I learned to speak Spanish and worked in a refugee home. These two years showed me exactly what I want to do in my life. I have always wanted to work with
people. After working in the refugee home I realized this is the field I want to work in. To learn more about causes of migration and how to prevent the need to flew is just one example of what I hope to learn from this study. One day I would like to work for the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) with the B.A. Global Governance I hope to get closer to this dream.
