Fornaro Alberto
Alberto Fornaro lectures Strategic Management at the Global Governance Program of University of Rome – Tor Vergata; he previously taught Treasury and Risk Management at Scuola di Direzione Aziendale of Bocconi University in Milan.
He currently is the CEO of IUVO, a wearable robotics company which is a spin-off of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa. He is the former Chief Financial Officer of NRG ENERGY, the largest company operating in the competitive energy market in US and Canada and of COUPANG, the e-commerce company market leader in Korea listed at the NYSE in 2021. He also spent almost nine years at International Gaming Technology (IGT) as EVP & CFO, served as General Manager of Technogym, the second-largest worldwide wellness /fitness company; he spent also 12 years in finance at CNH Global/Fiat Group in Italy and in the U.S.
Alberto holds a Master in Banking Disciplines from the University of Siena’s Post Graduate School in Banking, and was a Visiting Scholar at the Ph.D. Program in Economics at Columbia University, New York. In 2019 he graduated at the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School and in 2022 he completed a nine month program for Chief Technology Officers at the Haas School of Business of Berkeley University, California. Fornaro is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois.
